A native Rhode Islander, James graduated from URI with a BFA in acting prior earning a law degree from Roger Williams School of Law. James is a proud dad to Pepper, a proud stepfather to Luc and a proud spouse to Melissa Bowler.
When not practicing law you can find James training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or performing and writing comedy. James also finds time to do Pro Bono work with the Volunteer Lawyers Program, focusing mainly on Veterans.
James is currently the co-chair for the Rhode Island Bar Association Committee on LGBTQ issues and serves on the Advisory Board of the Pro Bono Collaborative with Roger Williams School of Law.
